About Manoi Studios

Manoi Studios, LLC · Lenexa, Kansas

Manoi Studios is a small software company in Lenexa, Kansas. It's one person: me, Jeremy Kissell, the founder and only member of Manoi Studios, LLC. I've worked in IT for 30 years, and I make software people can trust: no ads, no tracking, and nothing sneaky.

What we make

PrisFlex is a media server and app. PrisFlex Server runs on Windows, Linux or Docker and keeps your own movies, shows, music, photos and books in one place, and the PrisFlex App plays them on Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, Apple TV, iPhone, Android phones and any web browser. It's coming soon; prisflex.com has the details.

David is a free browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. It skips YouTube video ads and Reels ads, and takes AI-generated content off your screen. It's coming soon to the browser stores.

Script Fall is a browser game that teaches you to read and type other writing systems by playing arcade games, one character at a time. It's out now, at scriptfall.com.

Manoi's Mail Run is a free platformer set in Script Fall's world. You can play it here, in your browser.

More games are on the way. The home page lists what's in the workshop.

How we work

• No ads. Nobody pays us to put things in front of you. We'll make our money by selling the things we make.
• No tracking. This website has no analytics, no ad networks and no cookies. Each product's privacy page says exactly what it keeps and why.
• Kids welcome, safely. In our games, kids under 13 never get accounts of their own. A parent adds them as young players, with made-up names, no chat and nothing to buy.
• Everything's original. Every game, song and character is written from scratch. I build the games with help from Claude, an AI made by Anthropic.

The name

"Manoi" means "small dog" in Thai. It's also the name of Script Fall's hero, a puppy with a very big job, and the paw on our lantern logo is his.
